Tina was a light. It has been two weeks since I first learned of her death and every single day I think maybe it was a mistake and I will get a witty text. Tina loved hard. She loved her community and her people and her work. Her heart was so big and so full that it could bring her to tears. She made time for everyone in whatever way she could. I will always remember during COVID how we had biweekly coffee breaks to check in. She alleviated my loneliness by lifting me up, crying with me, and laughing with me. We would send cat pictures back and forth and share fur baby stories. She was a force. I will miss her, and as I always told her- Tina, I miss your face.

I'm still struggling to find the words. Tina was an amazing colleague and person. She was so incredibly generous with her time, knowledge, and spirit. I was so lucky to have worked with her for nearly 10 years and learned so much. A colleague mentioned to me yesterday that his grandma used to tell him, "if you're sad, get some flowers" and I just thought it was so perfect when thinking of Tina. She was a master gardener and plants and flowers were her jam. I'll think of that often as I pass by the garden shops or grab some flowers at the store. There is a huge Tina-sized gap now that will be hard to fill. I'm thankful for the UMACRAO community and opportunity to share just how special she was. Amber Cellotti, University of Minnesota.

I am heartbroken by the news of Tina's passing. Tina was my friend and colleague. We've worked together for 20+ years. She made so many positive impacts for students and she has a wonderful legacy that will be long remembered. Condolences to all. Julie Selander, University of Minnesota

I am so saddened by this news. I looked forward to her knowledge and wit at the UMACRAO conferences. Such an intelligent person. She will be missed!

This literally took my breath away! What happened?? Tina was one of a kind. I would email her often with FERPA issues as she was my FERPA "go to" person. She always had a smile on her face and was such a friendly person. She will be so missed!! Peace Tina.
